EWEL is looking for a Project Coordinator to join the team at EWEL Main (11604 186 St NW, Edmonton).
The Project Coordinator manages the day-to-day maintenance of EWEL’s projects and handles all aspects of project coordination – from job start to closeout to after-sale service (returns and warranty). The Project Coordinator has superior communication and organizational skills and delivers top-notch customer service in a professional, timely fashion. This position demands flexibility, adaptability, and a wide view of EWEL’s role in the success of a project. The Project Coordinator is the main point of contact for service on EWEL’s projects.
REPORTS TO (MANAGER)
The Project Coordinator reports to the Projects Team Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS & IDEAL SKILLS
This is a demanding position that requires focus, attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication skills. The Project Coordinator
- has a minimum of 2 years of experience in the electrical industry. Experience with distributors, suppliers, or agents is an asset, as is previous project coordination / project manager experience.
- takes a ‘customer first’ approach to customer service.
- has professional-level written and oral communication skills (especially email).
- has strong time management skills.
- has high-level reading comprehension.
- has experience with, and proficiency in, Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat DC (not strictly required but is an asset).
- is fluent in and proficient with computer file systems and various types of software.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Develops & maintains strong relationships with customers, agents and suppliers, teammates, and other staff.
- Provides professional, timely, and accurate information to customers and suppliers.
- Executes all project maintenance in Job Management software.
- Interprets plans & specifications when required.
- Executes project startups and grooming procedures, with help from quotations personnel if required.
- Manages, tracks, and follows up on the shop drawing process.
- Issues, tracks, and follows up on all project change orders.
- Expedites (track shipping on) vendor shipments as required and requested by customers.
- Receives material for invoicing.
- Reconciles project financial at closeout.
- Handles material returns, credits, and warranty claims.
ERP RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitors own calling queue.
- Monitors calling queue for the projects team.
- Manages the project invoice hold queue.
- Reconciles the weekly open project report (with help from quotations personnel if required).
