In 2019, vehicle access to EWEL will be affected by the City’s Yellowhead Trail (156 Street – St Albert Trail) redevelopment project. This portion of the Yellowhead Trail will be rebuilt and realigned. Intersection flow and access will change, and 124 avenue will be re-surfaced and re-aligned as a 3-lane road (middle lane for turning) with no street parking. A pedestrian sidewalk will also be built. Here’s a link to the City’s plan for this project https://www.edmonton.ca/projects_plans/156-street-to-st-albert-trail.aspx.
EWEL will remain 100% OPEN during the construction.
EWEL has assurance from The City that a basic level of vehicle access to our building will be maintained, but the location of that access may shift depending on the day’s construction requirements. We’re hoping this badly-needed upgrade won’t be too disruptive for our customers!
EWEL will do everything we can to make this disruption easy on our customers. We will share more details when they become available, and we promise to keep you updated on major happenings.
Thank you for believing in EWEL. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
